Some parents just hope their kids get the chance to grow up.
Here's your chance to help.
We're inviting our community to embrace the love of childhood play and move forward toward finding a cure for childhood cancer. Join us on Oct 30th from 10am until 4pm at KellyCars for the biggest day of play that Chattanooga has ever seen!
Emily's Power for a Cure Neuroblastoma Foundation was established in loving memory of 2-year old Emily Ransom. Diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma in October 2005, this beautiful, strong-willed little girl known as the Pink Power Ranger Princess fought with everything she had for four months to beat her cancer. On February 20, 2006 her battle lead her to Heaven.
Her family wishes to continue her fight and find a cure for this horrible disease. The foundation was established by her family to raise awareness and funds to find a cure for Neuroblastoma, while supporting families and children who are currently in treatment for this disease.
Neuroblastoma is one of the most aggressive and mysterious forms of childhood cancer. In the US, approximately 650 children are diagnosed with NB every year. Only 30% of children affected survive. Currently, 5 children in the Chattanooga area are fighting this disease.
Emily impacted many people in her short time here on earth our goal is to continue what she started.
We are planning this spectacular event for October 30th and are currently seeking sponsors and vendors. Contact jennifer@kellycars.com for more information on how YOU can Play It Forward!
